Wilson A1000 1787 Freebird 11.75" Baseball Glove: WBG265011175
Fly across the diamond with a patriotic Red, White, and Navy colorway that pairs bold USA style with effortless, game-ready infield control!
As a glove expert, I am excited to breakdown this standout 1787 pattern within Wilson's flexible A1000 series. Featuring an 11.75-inch length paired with a classic I-Web, this pattern is built with a shallow pocket that gives shortstops and third basemen extended reach while facilitating lighting-fast ball transfers. It naturally breaks in with a flattened, flared shape that helps players scoop up tough grounders and secure line drives across the left side of the infield.
Crafted from soft, durable full-grain leather, the Freebird incorporates Double Palm Construction—a thin, strategically cut piece of leather placed between the palm liner and outer shell that stabilizes the pocket and prevents palm wrinkling over time. To ensure your glove maintains its integrity season after season, Rolled Dual Welting runs along the back of each finger slot to retain shape and structure through heavy use. Combining game-ready softness, dependable structural support, and versatile infield dimensions, the A1000 Freebird gives growing athletes the elite performance features they need to command the field with absolute confidence.
